I was told recently that there is a product on the market (a bar mounted switch) that will either advance your timing for better top end performance or retard the timing for better bottom. If this is true has anyone installed one on their KDX, and if so how well does it work and is it worth $ to install.

I've read about someting like this on factory works bikes. I'm not sure if it is available to the general puplic or not.

They were probably talking about the programmable ignition systems that have started to hit the market in the last year or so.

I have not seen any posts from KDX owners who have tried one.

FMF makes it, but not fo the KDX, just selected KX'S.
