Showers forcast wednesday, maybe thursday too. It was actually a nice weekend up there, not as hot as in June, and the swimming hole is full....don't know how, but it is.

So, we got a head count yet? For those who are going, don't forget to email or pm me for the gate combo

Everyone know the gate combo? I can't post it here, so don't forget to ask if you don't know! There are 2 gates, one adjacent to Spillman and one @ the head of Tahuya River Camp (note to any not familiar with it, on one side of the sign it says Tahuya River Horse Camp, the other, Tahuya River Camp).
Looks like we got around 20 so far between DRN'ers and other miscreants, room for a few more if anyone has a mind to. Did anyone mention it on the KTMtalk board?
Hopefully Sharla didn't take ALL our rain, latest seems we might get a few showers tommorrow (good thing for the folks near Brown's Point) and maybe Thursday.
BTW, could someone make up a couple of " PIT RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK" or "DUST OUT OUR CAMPSITE AND WE'LL CHASE YOU BACK TO YOUR'S" or something along those lines signs?

Yep, saw that, here's today's email;

"Bruce,

You are OK for the weekend 8/8-10. We will be banning All open flames and camp
fires. Bring a elevated closed BQer for cooking. Citations will be given for
folks caught with campfires. Let your group know and have fun out there.

Jon"

Hopefully this will change by Friday, but I'm bringing my weber (and some firewood), suggest others do the same.

Rained most of the way home tonight was tempted to pull over and :worship:

sgwkatoom and I will be there saturday at some point, probably not before noon, plus up to two more. F-250 w/ camper, 2 KTMs, Maybe a KDX, Maybe a quad. I've got the code and was able to find it last time I was up there - I think it's just the next left after the main parking lot, then next right, right?

Yep, left on Goat Ranch, through the gate adjacent to camp spillman, just past twin lakes there's another gate to the right, sign in front says tahuya river camp on one side, tahuya river horse camp on the other. gate combo is the same for both gates, I'm planning to be in campsite 1, goldish brown/white F250, black enclosed trailer, plan to be there 1st thing fri am.

For those only coming Sunday, if you don't see bikes when you pull in, there will be people in campsite 1 who know where we are and when we'll be back. Chances are someone will be rolling around there, looks like about 20+ so far between those here and the usual repeat offenders :p

latest word on campfires doesn't look good btw
