head milling

Hey,
I was wondering if anyone has had there head milled, and how much. I have heard it helps out decently on the bottom, I do not mind running race gas as i use it most of the time anyway. I have someone who can do it and recommend twelve thousandths off.
Oh yeah stupid me I have an 01 cr 250 with sst-v-force-jetting changes-power valve cover-,bike runs well but was advised to do this any opinions?:moon:

I'd say yes, mine is an '02, and needed more oomph in the low to mid and milling the head 10 thousandths did the trick. be prepared to play with your jetting a little and I would advise using a pump gas/race gas mix. I hear it takes away over-rev but have not noticed this on mine, I felt it was the best mod I did.
