Hello folks,
Another nube has hit the forum. You can plan on getting lot's of questions from me. Let me start by saying that I have very little experience with motor cycles. I road a few that belonged to friends when I was a kid 30 plus years ago. I learned to ride and learned to wreck, I think that I was better at wrecking. Anyway, I had a three wheeler once, that was until a friend decided to take it for a swim at Nag's Head. That's about it as far as owning a bike of any kind. I just got word that I am getting a 1972 Yamaha 175cc enduro for " FREE ". I'll be picking it up tomorrow morning. I know that the bike ran pretty good when my brother-in-law picked it up about 5 years ago. He learned to ride, got licensed and bought a crotch rocket. It has been in his shed since then. I doubt that he did anything to it to prepare it for storage so I guess I'll have to work on it some to get it running. Wish me luck, I'll see you around the forum!
