Hello from Jamacia

Hello everyone! I thought I'd log in and say hello. I can't go too long without DRN (even on vacation). We are on Voyager of the Seas (Royal Carribean Cruise Lines). We just left Jamacia a few hours ago and are on our way to Grand Cayman tomorrow and then Cozumel on Friday. I watched motorcycle racing yesterday at the sports bar on board but they wanted to change it to football!:p

Anyway, just thought I'd say hello! Talk to everyone when I get back. I've got to go, I think this thing is charging by the minute!

It's too late now, but My family took that exact same cruise at X-mas time 3-years ago. The best Shore excursion in Jamaca is a 35 mile MTN Bike ride. They take you by bus from the ship up to the top of a Mountain, and then you ride down to the shore and end at Dunn's River Falls.

The ride was GREAT! Downhill all the way. A combination of Dirt roads, and two track jeep trails.

At the end of the ride, the ride guides opened up a cooler of Red Stripe Beer! Then we climbed the falls and headed back to the ship.

Ahhh. What a great trip. I hope you're going scuba diving in Grand Caymen. It's some of the best diving in the world! Enjoy! ;)

She's in Jamaica , mon! And yes, I'm VERY jealous. Neely, please bring me a truckload of free Red Stripes? I don't know what kind of crops they use to brew that stuff, but it makes me happy like a little girl. ;)

Cozumel

Neely, we'll be riding at the track Friday afternoon after 3pm. It's on 30 Ave. South right near the GM dealership. We're dropping friends at the airport in the morning but we'll be at the yacht between 12-3pm if you want to drop by. Tell the taxi driver you're looking for Puerto de Abrigo. It's called Aries and it's the one with all the dirt bikes on the dock. Liz & Tim

I had a great time. If you don't count the 6-8 hours sitting in the airport for the trip home. Anyway, have pictures and will post when I get time to scan them. Work is definately conflicting with my play time.;) Why does it take three to four weeks to make up 1 week of work!
