Well Im the newest new guy here. :) I have been riding street for probably ten years with no dirt time, and I think now I would like to get into some MX/Trail/Enduro stuff. It just looks like fun.
I am considering buying a 91 dr250s this local guy is selling for $1000. Any input or info on this bike? BTW, I am 6'2" , about 200 lbs. Thanks all, hope to be off road soon :cool:

A thousand dollars seems like a lot of money for a old 250, but I'm not familiar with the DR250

I'm located in Fayetteville.

Thanks for the info bikesnob. I will take that into consideration. I have started to notice newer bikes at around 1500 - 2000.

You are now the closest person to me, on this board. When you get your bike and start looking for MX tracks, I know of 4 or 5 that are within 2.5 hours of you.
