hey guys im new here jsut picked up my kdx today. i have been ridign for about 3 years and i ride a mojave before i got the kdx. im jsut wondering if i can mount a 1985 exhaust on mny 1986 model, also is there any sites that sell aftermarket parts for this bike? thank you!

I would think the '85 and '86 pipes are interchangable. You can verify by checking the part #'s at www.buykawasaki.com
Lots of places sell aftermarket parts for KDXes. Email Jeff (of MXSouth) at [email protected] and ask him for pricing on what it is you are looking for.

I had an 86 and now own an 88. I am not sure if the 85 and 86 are the same. 86 and 88 rea I know. I jut bought a pipe and silencer for my 88 from DG Performance. It was a good deal.

Get ahold of a Dennis Kirk/Tucker Rockey catalog, and look up exhaust parts, probably under DG in Dennis Kirk. If the 2 part #'s are the same then it will work.
