Thank you,.. thank you very much. :) The input that I got from everyone here was terribly helpful. I didn't even think of the ktm line at first, and the BF didn't really push the issue, because he thought I'd balk at the price. CaNaDiAn,Eh? - Yes it is indeed from Blackfoot Motorsports. I'm not sure how soon the ride report will be,... since we're still under 2 feet of snow in Edmonton. I will try to get on it at the Blackfoot track in Cowtown  on Saturday, but no promises, since we're going there to help my aunt move too. I didn't see any chest protectors in the quick look I took in the for sale forum. i haven't quite made up my mind on the ebay thing yet. I do know that there's an Acerbis women's Chest protector sitting at a dealership here for $169, saw it last year, and it's still there now. It looks weird though with that "exoskeleton" thing going on. I think we might look into some knee and elbow pads for me too. We are definately going to try to head out to Kelowna this July. I think 2 trips might be pushing it a little though, so Washington might be out for now. ( Especially if I'm buying the bike this year.) Besides,.. from what I'm hearing, I'm going need a couple of months to re-learn how to ride! :) fc22 - Erm,... well..... as for the new bike wishlist,... Charcoal or black plastic and seat cover,.. and the very first purchase,... a not so,... uhm,... "masculine" front fender... Once I've had a chance to ride it, I will likely expand my wishlist. The handguards and clutch guard are a good idea, I will get the BF to look that stuff up, he seems to enjoy the whole "looking for things to buy on the net" thing way more than me. Kokanee - I got your email, and finally got around to answering it. It's been a hectic few days. Even though it's not a long distance, a trip to Calgary seems to eat up an entire weekend. We only got word that they would 'let" us finance the bike at 3pm today.
