help with 03-06 2 strokes

I quit racing in 2000 when I joined the air force. Last bike I had was a 2000 cr250R. I love CR's and have been doing some research on the 03-06 CR250's. I haven't heard a whole lot of good things about them. I guess they changed the reeds in 02? Anyway I was wondering if someone could give me their opinion on the 03-06 CR250's. If they haven't been on par for the past few years I may consider riding a different color. I'm only interested in 2 strokes.

wow. are they so bad that no one has even ridden one of these bikes? maybe I should move the post to a different section.
