hey guys.. i recieved my complete bottom and top end parts today..i ride a Yz250 is it a good idea to put a little oil on the needle bearing for the wrist pin. and does it hurt to put some oil on the piston before sliding it in the cylinder

The wrist pin is a good idea (oiling). Now as for the cylinder it can get complicated. There are two schools of thought on this, you decide. Your fuel carries all the lubrication your cylinder needs upon start up so it is not necessary, some might argue it would promote ring sticking due to too much oil in the rings. 2 strokes require the rings to "seat" to the cylinder walls and too much oil might prevent this. So, that is the other side of the argument. I offer this not to promote any sort of debate but to inform only.
