OK, I'm 44 and what happened was I kept taking my stepson (12) and his buddies MXing all the time on their little go-getters and I had to sit there and WATCH!!! :( So then I get this idea :clue: I will buy me one of these things and maybe join in the fun, so I get a used KX125. Turns out this was a pretty good idea since this is like the most flippin fun I ever had!!! That's about it, glad to be here.

Welcome to the site

I see where you have gone to your User CP and updated information relating to your location. Grab a spot on the couch. We will do our best to hook you up with some fellow dirt bike enthusiasts.

Check out the Mid-West DirtRiders forum for opportunities to hook up with fellow midwesterners. You are in the northern climes of the Heartland Spodes, so check out the Heartland Spodes forum for opportunities to hook up with some great folks.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention that DirtWeek will be coming to a race track near you this fall and we expect that you will be there. Y'all need to check out the greatest event on earth, DirtWeek! DirtWeek 2005 will soon begin to stir. Held every fall in Stillwater Oklahoma, DirtWeek has become the premier family event for many of the members of the site. Last year we had Kenny Bartram, Guy Cooper, Malcolm Smith and Larry Rosslier stop by for riding and bench racing. Check out the site at http://www.dirtweek.com. Additionally all the forums relating to past DirtWeeks can be found near the bottom of the main forum page.

Again, welcome to the site, and shout if you have any questions!
