Hi all.. Who's is going to Austin WORCS

Hello, Just getting back into riding and racing. It's been since 1981 for me. Trying to get the young-uns interested. I have so many fond memories of racing minis and 125's as a teen. Traveling around the midwest (mostly Missouri) to go to the NMA and GNC qualifiers was a hoot. :laugh: Grew up in Springfield MO and Possum Hollow was my home track. I have heard it is still there.

Me and my son plan to travel to Austin this weekend from Wichita, KS for the WORCS race. I am now old enough for the Over40. He's not yet ready to run a hare scrambles type race. Just getting the hang of the clutch deal. :eek:

Bought a used 03 RM250 and have already gotten some really helpful info from the site on getting the jetting cleaned up. Not very fast yet but man my bike sure looks fast. New plastic and graphics do wonders.

Hope to see some DRN folks at Austin

Don't know if any of the Austin guys are riding, but there is a fair size group of folks in NE Kansas / NW Missouri.
