Anyone want to go to the high desert on Sunday? I'd like to do a medium-length loop from Hodge Rd. (north of Victorville) to the Slash-X and back.

Then on the 25th at El Mirage for Shorty and his new (to him) bike; it's been over 2 years since he's ridden.

And finally on the following weekend, the 28th or 29th.

So there you have it: 3 possibles. Any takers?

Methinks 9am; that way we can avoid some traffic coming back into town.

Holeshot: you game? Bring big bike - we will be doing some speed.

Location: Hodge Road exit, head east for a ~2.5 miles. Look for white T-100 Toyota and one yellow bike.

See ya at 9. the bike is loaded. Speed? You trying to scare me?

If I remember corrctly the road comes to a fork near the mine or gravel pit. Are going that far in?

We'd do the rock stuff if it were dry (to keep the dust down); I'm assuming it's moist so we can do a higher pace in the open areas without the mosquito-abatement effects.

Just after the fork; straight ahead, a few hundred feet on your right.

I have to leave no later than ~noon as there's a car my wife wants to see. I expect one good loop will get us back to the trucks - er, econo boxes - by then. (J/K Holeshot: we test drove one today.)
