My bike 04 RMZ250 over the course of a ride of two developed a severe hot start problem. The cold engine will fire after a couple kicks, but once hot say 5 a minute squirt it will not start at all! :bang:
Had the intake valves replaced as well as the valve springs and the valve seats were recut, the carby was cleaned too but the problem persists. I returned the bike to my mechanic and he cant figure it out! :coocoo:
Can any one help.

Did you check the clearance on the exhaust valves? Too tight and they will stay a little bit open when things get hot.

Mechhanic got on to Suzuki. They tried a replacement stator and he called to tell me it is fine now. Test ride this weekend. Finers crossed.
