When it rains it pours
Tuesday my wife followed me in while I dropped her car off for brakes and exhaust work. She was driving my truck and on the way to taking me to work it died at a stoplight.
We got it running went a block when it died again. Luckily I was in the parking lot at work and a coworker drove her to her office.
I started the truck and revved it up seemed to run fine until I let off the pedal and it would die. Had it towed in and after a day of diagnostics they found the camshaft position sensor was bad. Fixed it that night and now it runs great again.
Anybody else have this happen? 2001 Ford F250 SD diesel (7.3l) with 54,000 miles on it.
