How do I adjust the straps on Tech 6 boots?

I bought a pair of Tech 6s on **** recently and the straps need adjusting. I have to make them longer so I tried pulling on them but they wouldn't budge.

Does anyone know how to adjust the straps?

Actually, I think it might.

But I appreciate your creative response, so I'll try.

With the boot OFF, pull on the inside end of the strap to release it from the retaining hook.

Slide the strap to the desired position.

Push the strap back onto the retaining hook

Three of the boot straps were stuck! I did finally get them loose by using a dull butter knife to press down the locking hook.

The design makes for a secure strap, but they definitely can be a b***h to adjust.

You know, in 6-1/2 years of riding, I never knew this. One pair of M4's and two pair of Tech6's and I've always just wiggled the straps side to side and pushed or pulled really hard to adjust them. Seriously. Guess I should read my owner's manual!
