how does jetting change after a port job?

if a 125 gets ported for better bottom end.. how does that typically effect the jetting? will it make it run lean on the pilot?

No simple answer, a flow change may or may not affect it. Every time you change something affecting flow, atomisation, ignition, pipe effect etc then there is the potential for change.
