I have a Husky cr50 sr, and I was wondering what the compression should be with a new set of rings. I just bought a compression tester, and believe I am supposed to check compressio with a warm engine. I think I am supposed to hold the throttle open and kick until compression peaks out. I also am supposed to hold the kill switch I am told. If any of this is wrong please tell me, so I may do this correctly.
Thanks,
rich

I get a little over a 100-125. throttle open=good. if you have the compression tester in then the plug is out. The bike cannot start this way so holding the kill switch doesn't have any benifit other than keeping an arc from jumping from the wire to a ground. Just don't hold the wire while your kicking or else you will feel why I just told you that.
