How much oil?

I have a 03 cr125 and I never got the owners manual with it, and looked all over the internet, and dont know how much oil im spose to put in it after I drain it all out, also what kind is preffered by some of you? Thanks for any help.

It should be marked on the motor somewhere near the filler cap. I use Type F tranny fluid in my bikes.

Most bikes take .850 liter. Put a whole quart of your favorite brand in there and change if often. I use ATF type F myself, yz250.

so i would be fine just putting a quart in there?

yes.
PS, edit you profile. Put a state or city in instead of "I don't know". You may find that members respond better when you provide them with useful info.

Don't do that measure it out! The idiot owner who had the bike before me dumped the whole quart in there and it wouldn't shift out of first gear.
