hey everyone. I need to know the steps in breaking in a new top end. do you have to break it in?? can you just go out and ride? what ratios do i mix? what are the heat cycles? the bike is a 2006 RM85L. thank you for your help  Also, my manual does not say how to break it in.

up to you

its up to you and your wallet, a forged piston will be more money, but will be more durable and will deliver a better performance, a casted piston will be cheaper, and will do just fine if your not into serious racing. hope it helps, but dont base it just on me, im not an expert at all.
