I am done!!!!! Finally!!! Wooo Hooo!!!

As some of the regular chatters (the dog pound) knows, I have been deep in remodelling as part of my parole on being booted out of the house. Well, after three weeks of destroying, rebuilding, drywalling, painting, repainting what the wife messed up, and renovating, I am done! The carpet goes in tomorrow and then it is golden! It feels so good to. I will post some before and after pics because I had to shoot this room 3 decades into the present from being a 1970's rec room with dark panelling and brown vinyl...yes, brown vinyl....400 square feet of plastic poo. My dad, who has been remodelling homes for 30 years, was over-impressed which is cool because he normally hates everything I do. So, basically this gives me about 4-6 mores hours a day for chat. ;)

Thanks. My next project will be building a water closet in the basement. I am thinking about putting it over the hole in the floor where I store the women.

Whew, I have been working on my Shop/Garage for a almost a year now. I can finally see the end.....uh.....well sort of an end mainly dryed in, insulated, wired and heated!!!!

And another thing maybe this year I can actually get to ride more than DW. :aj:

Boy I did! When I was still livin' in my house with wheels, one night I was lying in bed and I heard the water runnin' in my closet! I 'bout near freaked out! The dang ol' outlet end of the hot water line blew off the hot water tank! Talk about a mess. :|

Congrates man. I'm in middle of a bathroom rebuild. Full on tile shower. I'm sheet rocking the walls now. I will be finishing prepping the floor for the pan and installing the window this weekend. The next couple of weekends will be filled with putting the pan in and getting the curb finished up, Durock, and tile. The end is in sight and I will be glad to have it done soon. I have still mangaged to dodge work on it enough to ride at least twice a month, but with travel for work its pain to find the time to work on it. I know that you must be happy to be done with it. I know that I will be when I'm done.
