85 KDX 250, wont run, wont even fire just a little bit to act like it wants to run. Getting spark, getting feul, good compression. I dont know what's wrong with it. Any suggestions?
1. spray carb cleaner thru the carb into the cylinder and try again
- if it starts then you have a fuel problem
2. do a REAL COMPRESSION check with a COMPRESSION GUAGE (100psi or better for it to start on it own without pull starting it, under a 100psi and its done)
3. try a new plug yet
you shoudn't use starting fluid as is is very dry, if anything put some premix in the plug hole. you can have spark,fuel,and compression but it means nothing if you don't have spark at the right time,try moveing the stator plate to see if it helps.
