I just bought a 2000 125sx after trading in my '92 cr250. Wow what a diffrence. It feels like I'm riding a space ship or something. It sure is fun to ride though. I have a couple questions though. The manual says to run a BR9EVX (I think). Is this really required or will it be ok with a B9ES. Also, what mixture would you recommend? The manual says 40:1 to 60:1. Im using AJIP semisynthetic. Thanks for your time.

40-1 is fine. That's what most guys run. As for the plug a BR9ES would be fine. You want to use a plug with an R as the second letter. That means it's a resistor type plug that won't mess with your CDI. A BR9EG might be a better choice and is only $1 more.

I run VP C112 at 40:1. As far as plugs go I put in what they recommended, I never foul them anyway, just replace about twice a year for good measures.

Welcome to the outcast world of KTM. :aj:
