My brother, Are you using super unleaded gas?, New sparky plug? air filter clean? I had a bad running bike and my air filter was falling apart like cotton candy, Ha! No toil airfilters to the rescue! Is your fuel tank, carb an filters clean?. Fresh fuel? How about your alternator? is it covered in dirt and crust? Lots of factors involved but with a shop manual you will suceed! I guarentee it!
I just thought of something, yikes, I know. Vapor lock, sometimes on really hot running cycles the fuel system can get vapor lock if a fuel line or tank gets boiling hot. Re- routing fuel lines and using shields like heat tape can prevent some vapor lock instances...
my fuel lines dont go near the engine really plus im probably trading to a 1989 kx100 bored up to a 110 with full fmf exhaust so i was just asking if there was an easy fix so the guy im trading to dont have to deal with it
Clean out your carburetor, add a fresh spark plug and air filter. Make sure there are no air leaks, best leak check is to spray ether near the intake system and if it idles high I has an air leak and you must replace gaskets with fresh ones.
