i want to tune up my 1998 cr 250

ok i just got a cr 250 and i want to know what i would have to buy and what i would have to do to tune it up so if anyone could help me please post

What type of riding do you do, woods or MX?

Do want it to be smooth, or have a hit?

If the motor has a fresh top end and is mechanically sound, you might like it a lot 100% stock. If you want to get down the trail or track faster, the bike probably benefits from suspension work and good tires much more than motor work.
