I've been very happy with the studded tires I got through http://www.kevinscycleracing.com/tires.htm . They have several heights depending on what type of terrain your riding - I have the deep snow ones. I rode all last season with them and they still look almost brand new. Another guy I ride with bought another brand (not sure which) and his studs were VERY worn after one season. If you watch on the auction site they sometimes sell them on there at better prices.
