Hard to tell for sure as the mics on video recorders aren't the best, but it sounds like a normal KX85, KX100 or KX125!

I think I explained this sound and it's cause several times now?

I think, KEKWORD:THINK: that the sound you are hearing is coming from the carb. On my KX 85 and my Kx 250 my idle sound is a lot higher. IMO yours isn't set right and wasn't getting the proper Fuel to air mixture. Also was the choke up when you recorded that?

No the choke wasnt on, how would i turn my idle up :S
is that normal tho, like if it isnt what do i do to fix it, and also is 2500 $$ worth it ?

2500 for the 85? i paid 1300 for my 85. Had to put on 100 dollar chain kit and then about 6 months later piston blew out and but 800 in to fix it sooooo, about 2200 ish. And About the carb. There there is a little skrew on the carb left side of bike. and just turn it in 1/2 turns to the right. Just make sure you remember how many times your turn it just in case its too high.

The knock sound heard in most of the little KX's is caused by the backlash between the ring gear on the clutch basket and the primary gear on the crankshaft. But as I stated earlier, it is very hard to tell by listening to a video over the internet. If you are that worried about it, have a dealer or someone else in your area that is familliar with the little KX's listen to it for you. The carb, no matter what setting, will not cause it to knock, but if you raise the idle high enough the knock will go away due to the constant forword load on the gears.

In another post didn't you say this was your brother's bike?
Maybe I am thinking of someone else on here? :coocoo:
