Especially if you're riding yellow. :p
^^^ Hey now ... ;) ^^^

Never thought I'd be saying this, but I kinda like Reed a little better. Perhaps owning his own team has taught him something. Maybe he realizes it's not all about CR, but championships are a team effort. At the very least, he does now appear to talk less about his own 'tiger blood'... I hear him giving props to the other riders, not putting himself on such a pedistal... much better PR skills IMO. And riding well. I hope he's another in the hunt when we go outdoors.

I swear, Reed has never rode like he did this year. He had habits in the past, destined him to be Mr. 3rd place for ever, no more. But if he rides outdoors with the same heart? Not to mention the sandy mangina whining of the past! And he did deserve that 10,000 award from the hippie. That did not feel so bad?

Also in agreement.

I'd guess it has more to do with having a kid, than anything else.

Whatever it is.....

Dog Gone it, I thought it was just me.

Of course, I now have a Grandson, so I thought I was going soft, when I noticed the improved comm. skills on the podium and the "heart on the sleeve" racing.

I still hate that JBS is allowed to have the takeouts and is still sold as the hero. Fastest man on the planet, maybe, best racer NOT!

Saw a show on some channel with RV and the question was something like "who do you consider to be the best all time MX/SX racers?". He mentioned just about everyone except JBS. Pretty funny. Didn't JBS win every MX race of the season a couple years ago? ...

If you can put anything on what an Australian documentary view has to say, you are now seeing the inner Chad that was always there from his unspectacular school days, Europe, various American teams etc. up to his decision to run his own team, but hidden by having to grow as being secondary to winning races to reach the goal. The other thing that has been with him from school is his wife ( and a good wife / stable home life mean a lot).
It's been said before, while any sport takes a young man and makes him win championships it needs to continue to educate and socialise him or our idols will fail us.
Chad has a son a race team and the Aussie SX business so he has 3 kids really.
