It hasnt ever crashed in over a month and is easy to use -just plug and play.I does however need 256meg of ram as with 128meg it really doesnt perform well.

I've had really good results to. I went from 3-4 restarts a day t zero in months. It is way better than Windows ME. I'm doing okay with 128MB but i'm going to be adding some more with memory as cheap as it is.

Not to bad, I have to give MS *some* props, but when a Windows box, has the amount of uptime I'd had one some of my *nix servers, then I'll really be impressed :)

The only problem with it is that it does not play games the best but does help out on improving the frame rate.

I hear people talk about how "stable" it is compared to Win98, but I don't have problems with 98. My PC never crashes. What's so great about it that makes it worth buying an upgrade fom 98?

Unfortunately, Win XP doesn't support my video card, either. I have a Voodoo 3, which doesn't work at all with XP.

XP is kind of awsome. I think MS is finally on the right track. Now how many years has it taken???? XP makes great use of memory. It rarely its a swap file so a Whole lot less Hits on the HDD and it is a Heck of a lot faster. I think this may be part of teh reason behind less crashes as there is less opportunity for a courrupt swap (or paging) file. I am very impressed. It is running smooth as could be. I have it dual booting with win98SE. You are right on the money with 256MB min memory. I don't care what the minimum specs report, 128MB does not cut it. Also, not ne problem recognizng HW. I am very impressed overall.

I have used them all

Windows 95 :eek: Sucked but was better than Windows 3.11
Windows 98 :D Great Product
Windows ME :uh: I can't believe they even released the POS
Win NT 4 & 2000 :D Not too shabby
Win XP :) My wife even likes it

Windows XP is the best MS OS yet... Windows 98 used to be...

Thing i love is when i get impatient and click away like a nutter it just waits a bit then does all the things i ask.On ME it would wait, then try ,then crash, then lock up.I love the way you can set it up to run almost like 2 pcs -separate accounts for email/favorites for the missus.
