IMG Tag Functionality Quirk

Message
[QUOTE="Smit-Dog, post: 595792, member: 25436"] I'm experiencing a quirk using the [ IMG ] tag function. It seems to work fine when referencing an image on the couple of public web sites I have tried, but for some reason it does not work consistently when referencing an image through a public Webshots link ([url]www.webshots.com[/url]). I have made sure that the image is not too large (it's 44k, 500 x 375), and that it is a valid public link (I am not logged into Webshots when copying the image link). The first time I reference the Webshots image in a new post, it displays fine on the page right after hitting "Submit". However, if I navigate to another page, or refresh the page with my post on it, all you see is the red X image placeholder where the Webshots image should be (and was briefly displayed). I have tried this from other computers, same result. [u]Example 1[/u]: This is an IMG link to a public image on Webshots. Displays after first posting it, but not afterwards. FWIW, I can create a HTML document on my local machine with the HTML tag < IMG SRC= > pointing to this same image link, and it works fine when opened in IE. [img]http://www.microsoft.com/library/homepage/images/2003/ts_may192003sql.jpg[/img] At first I though it may be Webshots blocking image references to it's site from other servers. Perhaps that's why it displays at first, and subsequent links fail/are blocked. But I can display the Webshots link endlessly from my box (but it is not being referenced from a HTTP server...) Any ideas Okie/mods? I don't suspect it's a DRN issue, but just want to make sure. I'll contact Webshots as well. [/QUOTE]
