I have a 2004 honda crf250r. I was wondering what would be better to get for a quicker throttle response. My friends told me to get an exhaust but I saw a new device called the icat and i didnt know what would help more. If it is and exhaust which one would be the best? Thank you.

throttle response

all reviews on icat indicate not power gains.
Don't waste your money.
The Boyesen accelerator cover will help with throuttle response, you can also try taking some more slack out of your throttle cable.
The last and quick thing is to put in a slightly higher compresshion piston. Do not put a too high compression piston because you will have to run higher octane gas.
Oh ya, the power now insert will not help either. Check my review on that device.

Good Jetting is very important. Rather than the Boyseen get a JD kit, cheaper and takes care of the bog with an oring...
Next is race fuel to along with good jetting. Fuels like U4 or even C12 can do wonders when compared to some pump gas.
Lastly is get a Hi-Comp piston when it is time and enjoy better power all the way thru the RPM range.
Pipe's help but they normally just shift power or complemnet the above mentioned mods. IMO
