Hey everyone, I got a pretty bad shoulder after going over the bars last tuesday. I've been going to a local chiropractor (who I actually ride with sometimes) and he seems to think that my rotator cuff is either torn or just sprained pretty bad. I'm going to see a specialist today. My shoulder has definetly improved over the last week but it is not very strong and i still am experiencing quite a bit of pain when I move it certain ways, although I still have full range of motion. I understand it'll probably take 4-6 weeks to fully heal depending on if it's torn or not but the trouble is I have a big road trip to Oregon planned that I leave for next Tuesday. I plan on being out there for a solid 4 days of riding, although I almost definetly won't ride that much; might go check out the national at Washougal. So here is my question. Have any of you had a injury like this and how long did it take you to heal or start feeling better? Also I'm thinking about getting a shoulder brace to give me some support on the bike. I've been looking into the EVS brace but not sure how well it works. Any advice or stories would be great. Thanks guys!
