I have the "squeaky linkage" thread below. On closer examination there is indeed a bad seal and dry bearing.
I have heard of people putting a threaded in grease fitting on linkage pieces so that you can just add more grease with a grease gun. Anyone here tried this? Is this possible on a 98 cr125?

I've done it on a few bikes but wished I hadn't. Yes it's easy to get grease in there quickly but it sometimes pushed out the seals and the grease didn't always go to the entire bearing and when I did tear it apart the bearing was shot. Plus, you can't put a fitting on all of the linkage bearings (easily at least) so you'll have to remove the the linkage anyway to get to some of the bearings.

Now I just pull it apart more frequently and keep the seals fresh.
