International Motorcycle Show

I went to the one in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago. All the major manufacturers have their 2004 models there. KTM was not there however. The show was geared more for street riders. They had some aftermarket suppliers there but again it was 90% street riding stuff. Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha had all their dirtbikes and atvs there though.

Try motorcycleshows.com they have most of the details. One word of advice. If you are definately going buy your tickets in advance. There was an unbelievable long line for tickets in Atlanta. Have Fun.

I went to the Javitz Center IMS January 2nd...its great, every manufacturer (except KTM for some reason? ) dirt bike, street bike, its a great show ive been going for the past 2 years and expect to be going for years to come..you wont be dissapointed..

Been to the Tokyo Motor show twice now. Geared mostly for cars and streetbikes, with a few dirtbikes thrown in. They usually have some really cool prototype stuff, though. Be sure to take your camera, there are usually alot of items that are "easy on the eyes" that really need to be photographed. ;)

I've been attending the IMS since they started a few years ago. It's like going to a dealership that has every brand and every model. It's also nice to talk with the factory reps without any sales pressure.

I went to one just a few months ago. It was great, the one I went to had every manufacturer there (including KTM). There was more streetbike related accessories and stuff like that but, there were also many dirtbike geared booths as well. And of course there was the couple of the booths for the West Coast Choppers, Orange County Choppers....ect...clothing. It always kills me to see these people buying the clothes from those companies. 99% of the people who buy it have never ridden a bike in there life, and have to interest in it they just think it looks cool..lol.Anyway....the show I went to was great, there was even a trials riding and freestyle motocross demo you could see. I thought it was a terrific show, if yours is anything like it you should really enjoy it.

Went to the Atlanta one, got to see some kid do a backflip on what appeared to be a XR100... approx 60 foot run at a metal takeoff ramp, metal landing ramp, on concrete floor... no padding...

Obviously no mystery to this trick anymore

I went to the one in Cleveland last weekend. I've been going to them for the last six years. Like people said, they have pretty much all of the manufacturers there. Sometimes, the manufacturers bring the race bikes. This year, Honda brought Ricky Carmichael's CR250 and a baja bike (I don't follow that type of racing, so I don't know whose bike it was). Suzuki had Brandon Jesseman's bike there as well. Last year, Suzuki brought Matt Mladin's bike, too. If you like street bikes, they also had Ducati, Aprilia, Triumph, Victory, and a few others in addition to the usual Japanese and Harley lineups. The Japanese manufacturers have pretty much a full line of dirt bike models, plus a few quads.

As a manufacturer, KTM was not in Cleveland, but they have been in years past. There was a KTM dealer there, so you could still see and sit on a lot of the current models - 450SX, 250SX, 200SX, 525EXC, etc.

They usually have some sort of show as well. In past years they've had professional trials riders that put on an amazing display. This year, they had an act where they have two or three riders in a steel ball circling around, and a kid who does a backflip on a minibike ramp to ramp. It was interesting in a carnival sort of way.

Some accessory dealers, but mostly geared towards street bikes. At least in Cleveland, they sell beer, too.

I think its a great time.

I went to the one in Vancouver BC a couple weeks ago.. FWIW there wasn't much interesting to look at that you can't go see at your local bike shops. The one exception was Stefan Everts' 2002 championship YZF500 bike, the one with the 3-piece aluminum frame. That thing had so much unobtanium on it I couldn't believe it.
