Is removing the bafel, hard on the bike???

I would like to know if removing the bafel from your stock muffler hard on your bike.I was told that it is hard on your valves???

Nope, just your ears. You may need to do some jetting afterwards to get the best performance.

Remove it, repack it and put it back on.

correct me if im wrong but i believe it leans out the jetting taking away power becuase the bike is probably already very lean stock. it also makes it run hot. but im not sure.

It's easier than spelling baffle, but won't have a significant power increase. Keep it quiet so you can keep riding. That 230 will never make enough power, and you won't notice the miniscule gains that you might get. The extra noise may make you think that you are making a ton of power, but your lap times will not be commensurate with the dB levels.
