My son and I were in Tecumseh, MI a few weeks ago for a regional Tae Kwon Do tournament. On the way out of town we ran across this indoor motocross track so we stopped by. There were some young men & women running their 125's around the track, doing the jumps, doubles, whoops and berms. A very compressed track. It looked fun. However it also looked tight!
What I'm wondering is would an indoor track like that be rideable on a big bike like my WR500, which is designed with a much greater rake on the suspension and is probably much heavier? I am just trying to think of some ways where I can ride the bike and get in some seat time in a controlled, non-competitive environment which is safe. Would it be beneficial for learning technique or just an excercise in frustration and futility?
