I've got mixed emotions about DW this year. It's been like a roller coaster ride.
I've been looking forward to this event since the day we pulled away from DW01. There wasn't really a question I would go to this one, heck I've driven to both of them from CA!
When we moved we thought wow, we'll only be 2.5 hours away this year! Having it at Cooperland didn't derail me though. But now I've had to get de-amped. I'm on the verge of getting a new job I so desperately need and I have this sick feeling in my stomach about how I'm going to approach them and ask for a week off in Oct. So now my DW plans are up in the air. :(

I started stockpiling parts a month ago (I'll have to start all over if the bike deal happens). Now I'm trying to finish up my lodging plans. Don't know if I'm going to camp, do the hotel thing, or just hole up under one of the big RV's. I can't wait for October! :)

Hehehe - Okie is making plans, if you call praying to the weather gods plans. Everybody that was at DW '00 & DW '01 early enough knows for certain that it'll rain the first day (or possibly 2) and drive Okie to near insanity cursing unknown entities! Of course it'll be perfect weather after that for the remainder and everyone will be praising the weather gods for the rain and traction but still..... Okie will take another 24hrs after the rain quits just to calm down :p
