I'm kinda borderline about how I feel about pictures where the rider is looking directly at the camera. Don't get me wrong...some are really cool pictures, but I think it kinda takes away the realism of the picture.
I do some of my best goon riding when I know a camera is there. Actually I'm impressed that I haven't had a case of "you go where you look" syndrome coupled with a damaged camera and person behind said lense. :yikes:
I'm all about the eyes in shots. It really makes mx shots for me but more of the natural get while they are racing versus posed shots. Shooting the 50's and 60's always makes me laugh as I get kids turning pretty much right around to look at me. Had one kid last weekend his second race ever, each time he went by he'd look and smile big for the camera :laugh:
