Just picked up a fairly new KDX200. It has a Gnarly woods pipe and FMF silencer. The bike was running very rich so I installed a Uni air filter, removed the snorkel and modified the air box lid, rejetted the carb and adjusted the float level. Now the bike runs great. My question is this, does the manufacture set these bikes up rich intentionally? The float level was so far off I had to bend the tang almost 45degrees to get it right. Just wandering if this was just my bike or if all bikes come from the factory like this.

The float shouldn't be that far off but they are all rich from the factory. Kawasaki has no idea what the correct jetting is for your location so they make sure it's good and rich rather than lean.
