Jetting help for your KDX

Guys, I've been getting bombarded with jetting questions. You've got me confused with someone that knows something! :scream:

I learned all I know from:
1. Reading posts
2. Trying things on my bike
3. Seat of the pants dyno runs
4.reading JUSTKDX
5. e-mailing a few members of the infamous "RB carb trerad" found in the technical archives forum.

Good luck guys. Keep in mind I knew nothing last March when I got my KDX after not riding a bike in 17 years, if I can learn you can too. I'm a lousy mechanic!


Oh ya, one more thing. jamesdean is the "god" of jetting. You can pick uop his excel speradsheet for I think $20.00 and compare jetting till you head spins. You can check that out here:

just turn those little gears around which ever way you want when you take the top end apart. Make sure you have a strong piston so when it clanks against the Kips side ports it don't crack. :debil: :debil: :confused:

weve come up with a better idea,im gonna take it to service tomarrow,its only a few blocks away,get aj to shoehorn a cr500 motor in there.no powerports,no jetting problems:cool:
