Does anyone know the preferred gas/oil ratio of the PW or JR 50s if not using the oil injector. Being that they are not usually run wide open I would think you could run it 36:1 maybe even 40:1. Any opinions?

with a good brand synthetic oil 36:1 will be good...

Plugging the oil injection

Do you know if I need to plug the oil injection system up or can I just run it dry and mix the gas? Seems like I heard somebody say that you need to plug it up to prevent excess air from entering the cyclinder through the line.
