Since I won't be racing any this year, I got a e-start that has a minimalistick dual-sport kit added. The bike has very low time on it and is stone stock from what I can tell. Runs great but I know there is more to be had. No owner's manual...grrrrrrr!
Any setup/modification suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
BTW I live/ride at 5,000'-10,000' .

If you run some searches, you'll find all kinds of stuff for modding the DRZ's, but I think there is a bug right now with the search-I could be wrong about that.

Anywho, the quickest, cheapest thing you can do is pull the seat, and see if the airbox lid is still there. If it is, pull it off. It's just a rubber lid that requires no tools to remove. After that, jet up a couple on the main to compliment the lid removal. Not sure what your main would be at that altitude, however. Here around 1000', I think it goes from 145 stock-153 after removing the lid.

I did notice the airbox restriction when I yanked the seat last night. The forementioned website should answer all my jetting question...thanks!
The stock muffler is a definite keeper, although it's a little heavy it flows very well for being so quiet. Anyone have any good results with a different header?
