i am the one who lit the fire on this whole argument anyway. A few replies I must add..... No, I cannot say the CRF's suspension will sac out. Conversly, the YZF suspension people bitch about being too stiff initially, but over time it gets better and better. I am no pro, but personally I would rather have my suspension be set up to handle aggressive riding rather than ride aggresively and get kicked because I need my suspension re-done. And Bam, I'll see you Sunday, but my facts come straight from MXA, and if anyone steps to bash them and say they are Biased toward yamaha bring it on, I WILL RUIN YOU in an argument if you like. They back all their "opinions" up with the most intellectual information of any of the mags. The YZF puts out bigger numbers on the dyno at the bottom and top of the power spread. Not saying that dyno results are everything, because we all know they can be moot once on the track, but the numbers from the YZF, and the tug at the handlebars does not lie when it comes to putting out MORE POWER. Argue if you want, but the facts will prove you wrong. Its like fractured Vet said though..."personal preference"..... My boy Eric Hughes (25th out of 33 at the 4 stroke national just held at Racetown) bought the CRF because he felt that the mellower power would allow him to ride it faster for longer in a pro race than he could the harder hitting, and a bit more harsh YZF. Pick your poison. Mines BLUE

I hope you set the poor misguided lad straight. ;)
