Several years back my wife and I decided to cut back on how much we got our kids, they get presents but we don't buy just so they will have a loit of stuff. To us the real meaning of Christmas is the celebration of Christ's birth, which helps to keep things in perspective even if it does seem to put us out-of-step with many of our friends. I love my relatives too, and since I only see them a couple of times a year I can tolerate them ( they probably feel the same way about me!) Bottom line - I guess it's perspective. [/QUOTE]
