I have a Yz450f and have considered using the K+N air filter ,but the horror stories abound about the K+N in dusty conditions.What is your take on these filters?
not sure ya should believe everything ya hear. i have heard the same stories but havent experienced them myself and i live in one dusty place (phoenix)
i also remember reading an article in a magazine during the gulf war that the apaches/hummers where having problems with the sand etc. clogging the filters. K&N jumped in and produced filters for all the apaches/hummers and they never had a problem after that. (true ???)
