Kawasaki has signed Joey Savatgy to fill in for Adam Cianciarulo for the 2022 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship. Cianciarulo is not yet fully healed from the knee injury he suffered earlier in the Supercross Championship. Savatgy missed most of the Supercross Championship with a knee injury, as well, as a member of the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC-KTM-WPS Team, which has since folded. But Savatgy is ready to go and will step in for Cianciarulo on the Monster Energy Kawasaki Team in the 450MX class. He will ride alongside teammate Jason Anderson.
