Yes, it is true. It was '87 - '88. I have pics...somewhere.

what would the price be to replace a bent rim, a worn out engine sprocket, and to get a number plate for an 1988 kdx 200

Sprockets are cheap. Rims are not. Your best bet is to just watch Ebay. There are guys parting out KDXs allt he time and complete rim setups often go quite cheap.

OK, now I'm going to have to go up in the attic and dig out the mag with the pictures of the white KDX in it. But, I think I remember that the frame was blue.

My brother has a stock 90 with white plastics! He calls it a white cow! :)

I have a white 1988 KDX 200. Bought it new in 1988. Still runs great. It has a silver frame. The white plastic is no longer available from any dealers.
