can any one tell me the procedure of removing odometer aparatus at front hub

Taking it off to check it out or to remove it from the front hub totally?

for the cable just take the little set screw out and pull the cable. if you want to get rid of the whole thing you will have to come up with some sort of a spacer.

Or just leave the piece in at the axle and put a plug in the hole where the cable was.
