From what I've heard previously on this site, you would lose a slight amount of low end power, but gain a moderate amount of mid and high rpm power. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Mackie --If you have the stock expansion chamber on the bike the larger carb will do next to nothing. If you install a "rev" type pipe, the engine will rev considerably higher with the 36mm. HP is a direct function of RPMs
