Does any know if a KDX 18" rear wheel will fit on a KX250? I have a 2001 KX250... Looks like it might work.

No, I don't know.

What does 'looks like it might' mean? Hub width is the same? Sprocket placement? Rotor position? Caliper to rotor fit?

I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts it doesn't fit.

You would be more likely to be able to lace up an 18" rim to the KX hub.

But, like I said......I don't know.

I agree with CC in that it most likely will not fit. On my '03 KX the axle diameter is much larger than my KDX was. Beyond that, there are most likely other differences. Guess the only way to know would be to pull them both off and get out the calipers to start checking dimensions.

I know that a 1994 kx125 and a1989 kdx 200 and a 2001 klx300 will interchange just keep the spacers on the right bike. I traded the 19'" for a 18" off a 1997 klx 650

Thanks for all the replies...

Jason, I was asking before I buy. I just wanted to drink from the pool of knowledge here before I made a decision. I think that getting a new rim and lacing it up to the old hub is the way to go, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks again.
